i will confess i bullshitted the fishing achievements with journey a bit but cmon. cmon.
terraria is a game ive liked for a very long time :] in my first playthrough on the xbox 360 version i never went past the eye of cthulu because i was afraid of video game bosses when i was little (i also considered the wild bunch from the ds zhu zhu pets games as bosses) i just closed and reopened the game every time i got the message about being watched and fucked around in the underground jungle until the corruption directly next to where i chose to build my base made it uninhabitable.
for a bonus silly baby char gaming story i had a Huge crush on the arms dealer.
(this guy). i used the bed in his room of my "tower of npc boxes" style base as my spawnpoint. he died somehow (blood moon or goblin invasion probably) and the new one had a name i didn't like and small char was SO mad that her special guy had to be called.. herbert or something that she killed him with lava so a new one would spawn in. and never reached a tier of pickaxe that could break obsidian so there was just a few blocks of it where id put out of the lava until the save got corrupted.rip dante the arms dealer you'll never be forgotten.
it still took me a while to actually do everything in terraria. in october 2023 i got a laptop that could actually run pc terraria again and proceeded to get deeply fixated (which made my 2023 steam summary look really silly). this was my first time actually going into hard mode and i took that world all the way to the moon lord! and then i began looking into modded versions and decided to play calamity until it was too difficult for me to continue. which actually ended up taking me up to getting stuck at the boss rush!
